[Poll]Where do you want Standard Enemy Models
tbh i don’t care about hotjoin but as it will be a toggle anyway i voted for “everywhere”.
that being said, it is a necessity to add this option not only to teamQ but also to soloQ.
Ex player of PeanutButterJellyTime, Heavenly Annoying and Visceral Gaming.
The thing for me is,i would only like them being applied to asurans.I have no problems with other races.This is being implemented because people kept complaining ( for valid reasons ) about the asuran size and it’s animations being almost invisible.I don’t want Every other race to look as humans though,just the asurans..
Anyways,i voted for everywhere.
Just apply it everywhere, it’s an option after all, if we feel like it ins’t very important and we are just trying to have fun i’ll turn the option off but if i’m serious about the game and trying to climb then i’ll turn it on, but make it up to me to decide. that’s my opinion

While I’m really happy that after 2 year, finally we are getting the standart enemy models, I just don’t see why it can’t be applied in every gamemode from sPvP. I mean…why? I can’t see any reason for it. People can’t take solo queue or hot join seriously?

I will never take hot join seriously. There is just no reason too. It is not designed to be taken seriously or be competitive. SoloQ on the other hand….

Because some pepole like to look perty and would get upset if you block them from looking perty to everyone. For competitive game modes it overwrides the need to look perty to having the game be competitive.

Anet likely didn’t want to remove the armor stats entirely because…well,
we’ve all seen what happens in games where there’s no disadvantage to taking your pants off.

And in such situations you never care about single casts anyway.
You might if sniping or engaging in small-scale fights.
Not that I’d terribly want this option, but if it’s just an on/off tick, why the heck not. Pvp, pve, whatever.

I couldn’t care less if my opponents see my Sunrise or ascended armor. I just want to establish an even playing field in every mode including hot-join, wvw and both queues.

SoloQ is where all the best trolling happens, and is probably why Anet doesn’t want to remove Skyhammer or tiny asuran models from it.
I’d say everywhere just because there’s no reason NOT to. However, if they didn’t apply it to Hot Join i could honestly care less.
