So match making tends to average your win/lost ratio to about 50%. So when you get to div 2 you lose a point if you lose the match. So 5 straight wins followed by 5 straight loses= 0 pts. Is it going to be possible to get +25 more wins than losses to get from div 2 to div 3?

Seems difficult if the matcher is putting you with challenging opponents.

well you can form a group of 5, then keep losing matches to lower your MMR to rock bottom, then start farming at odd hours where the better players do not play.

I was wondering the same thing? Is it hopeless for a solo player? Are we doomed to tier 2? I’ve only had time to play about 10 matches, so really have no idea.

You gotta be lucky as f without premade. I managed to get first tier somehow.. Not sure if i have patience to continue tho

it is all possible, i did play 98% of solo and still reached div 3.
But yes… it is an hard trip.
