What’s up with all the power creep in the game at the moment, from my combat log I’m reading “18,937 – Test of faith” 1 hit from this and my thief or mesmers melts….If we have one trap guard on point all thieves in game become useless for that point, drop 1 on two points and we got an unwinnable game if you have 2 or more thieves. I thought the objective for pre HoT patches was to get rid of all this insta burst type stuff but here it is again. On top of that the CC…. omg the CC flying around at the moment is unbelieveable.

All team fights at the moment seem to be a race to see which team can throw down the most CC and most AoE. Pre HoT you had to actually aim skills at players not just rely on dropping as much AoE down as possible. Druids are tanky as all hell but have plenty enough CC and Damage to take down a zerker thief, ele or mesmer. It’s getting a little bit ridiculous to play. not to mention I can KO a thief or mesmer using the precast[True Shot][Judges Intervention][Smite Condition] Combo. That’s 3 skills to snipe a low HP target, we’re looking at numbers like 9-12K on true shot, 4K on smite condition and then they just burn to death off of your no condition damage burning.

I’m about done with this game, 3 years of play, watching this game slowly become more balanced and then it completely reverts back to how it was….Disappointed is all I feel about HoT. Hurry up and pull in your sales and then balance the kittening game again!

This patch was all about taking down Def and increasing damage

18k Test of Faith hits in PvP is certainly impossible, even on the squishiest target.

Dragonhunters were just nerfed, their trap dazes being reduced in duration as well as becoming blockable, and Test of Faith getting damage nerf on activation.

If that doesn’t make you feel good, just remember that all Dragonhunters get dunked the minute people run good builds and have the reflexes to avoid the wombo combo

Very incoherent exaggeration. You get hit by almost 19k “Test of Faith” and only 9-12k “True Shot” which has more power than ToF crossing damage. Logic? Seems to me like you just are an inveterate liar, sir.
