As sPvP sits currently in the game, lvl 80 happens way too soon.
If all pvp rank does is show how much you play, why is it capped at level 80?
Let us prestige and do it all over again. Give us some sort of shiny badge or other method to show what prestige we are on…. and let us rank up all over again!
Because all it does is cause more problems, people will expect exclusive finishers and all it does is basically undo what they fixed months ago where it would take years to get a certain finisher.

But we need an endgame pvp reward and hopefully they achieve that with the new seasons. There should be a finisher/title or something that you can only get if you’re the top 5% of PvP population or something.

I guess I didn’t articulate that well, I don’t want prestige, I think that’s a bad idea, but I do want unique rewards for the best players.

You could borrow from WvW and have something like bronze legendary champion, silver reaper, gold ransacker, platinum gladiator etc. I guess a symbol by your name could also be possible (think the world completion emblem but a different color and a roman numeral on it for prestige rank).

I really like this suggestion, and to be honest, even if we don’t get the little icon next to our username, the different tiers would add a deeper sense of progression.
Seal of approval. Would be great for us who have been handed 80 during the initial pvp exp change. Let us have some sort of continual progression along with new titles. Can’t go wrong.
They should have just left ranks alone! The only ones that needed fixing were 69-80, the points for those were ridiculous.
There really is no progression at all anymore, besides Champion Brawler. Players need some type of progression (rewards, titles, finishers, and etc.) if you want them to keep playing.
