how does dishonored works actually?
prevent dishonored people from joining arena games?
why don’t we use priority queue instead of dishonored?
what is priority?
okay imma copy paste text from here:
http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Priority
Priority is a status that determines how quickly the system will match you with other players. All players start at Normal priority by default.
Low priority is a penalty administered when:
- A player has abandoned a game multiple times.
- A player has been Reported multiple times.
Players in low priority will:
- Have longer than normal queue times.
- Only play matches with other players in low priority.
- Not receive any gold, rank points or reward tracks progress.
- Cause all players in his/her party to enter low priority until they leave the party (They do not share the gold, rank points and reward tracks progress penalty).
- Prevent the party from queuing for Un-Ranked and Ranked Arena.
^ with low priority, rage quitters will be playing with other rage quitters.
i have edited the text a bit to fit in with gw2.
anyway, lets continue the copy paste:
Low priority will be lifted after a set number of games played.
- Low priority will not be removed with time.
^ i removed irrelevant lines.
and we continue:
High priority is granted when:
- A player is returned to queue after a recently failed matchmaking attempt.
Players in high priority will:
- Have a shorter queue time through higher search priority depending on the amount of players currently in the match-making.
^ and that’s it! priority!
why don’t we have priority in gw2 as well?
would it work?
or dishonored is better?
priority vs dishonored?
what about a combination of both?
is it possible?
would it be too much work for justin, evan, josh and team?
