so i just want to ask , how long does it usualy take until you get the prize from a tournament ? i am still waiting for lama and gems from Pugquest EU #3, which was about 4 weeks ago

is this normal ? or did the devs just made an error and forgot about me ? because waiting a month for reciving the prize is imo not a very motivating thing for players that think about joining such amateur tournaments

Its normal, I haven’t gotten llamas from AG, pugquest ect, some of them going back almost 2-3 months. Its just very slow because its not automatic..

Someone here has a llama/prize tracker in their signature. I just don’t remember who…

But yeah, it took about 1+ month for me to get my prizes from AG.

alright good to know, maybe anet should hire an intern for such trival things to get it done..

Its better this way because you end up winning more tournaments and then you wake up one day, log on, and have like 4 llamas and 8000 gems all of a sudden.

um you don’t…. you just get part of it

The tournament organizers submit the prize rosters to ANet. ANet has to process those rosters, do any verification they need to, and distribute the prizes in-game manually. It’s pretty sporadic and can take 2 to 4 weeks.

Also, if you won gems, there’s no notification. They just appear in your wallet.

You know what the joke is? Have you seen what mods do? Yeah~

Somehow i think if mods actually were the ones giving prizes to winners, we wouldn’t have to wait months~

Prizes were last distributed on August 19th. If you’re missing something 2-3 months ago, you’re likely not going to get that, so contact the tourney organizer first for that and go from there. You DO get all of it at once, though, Irrwi.
