1. As a player – Would you PAY* to play in the next tournament? Why?

2. As audience – Would you PAY* to see the tournament? Why?

3. As a sponsor – Would you PAY* to be a partner of the tournament? Why?

*With real money, even if it’s just 1 €/$ per person.

Not a chance at least not for this game. ANET ignored pvp for so long. They are going to have to seriously prove themselves as a contender before I place any money into this game for pvp.

It is hard to even take them seriously when I look the in balance of so many classes. Also PVE is to closely tied to pvp in this game to make it even viable. GW1 missed its prime, that game would of been perfect for esports.

Any semblance of PvP balance that was left in this game is now completely gone post-HoT launch. It’s a complete joke that the dreamers at Anet think that GW2 can even surface on the competitive scene when the balance is this atrocious.

Perhaps they would be wiser to spend the $400K they’re throwing into the prize pool for a quick news banner to actually hiring and paying Devs willing and capable of balancing the PvP in this game.
