Why you ask? Because it’s effective, it fits team comps well, and performs effectively. You just sound salty for no real reason.

Signet of Restoration is absolutely useless in team fights, it has 0 burst healing. Forcing the Elementalist to run 3 Cantips to survive in team fights.

As for 3 Cantips, just overkill, to much defense for a 1v1 situation but you have to take that extra defense for team fights. Making for a build not ideal for team fighting nor 1v1’s, leaving for a very lop sided build.

Perfect for YoloQ where anything can happen. Stupid for organized teams.

Plus a good Elementalist, you’ll NEVER see that auto attack.

Useless? No. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Warriors are vastly different from Ele’s Sherlock.

Three Cantips are not great. Period. There becomes a point where adding a lot of defense and yet trying to be offensive falters. You’re trying to sustain, not tank.
I’ve stomped countless Elementalists 1v1 and in team fights and having that extra defense did not help them win one bit. It help them live and flee for a few more seconds but in the end, it ends the same, my banner in their corpse.

Have I been stomped on my Elementalist with just 1 Cantip vs. an opposing Elementalist with 3 Cantips? Nope. I learned which hits to take, which hits not to take and timing my heal well.

3 Cantips allows room for error, not more skill.

Thaddeus, Skovex, Phantaram, they all seem to basically be at the same level of elementalist as someone who has played it for a month. Sorry to say that , but having an ele as main dps is not a good idea since other class can do this better.So you have to assume the role of point defender that can eventually roam if needed.

Then saying you cant recognize a bad and a good cele ele just show how ignorant you are , becuz its all about this little things that makes a hudge difference on the end.(gameplay and rotations)

But i have to admit that after watching NA team comps , they prefer to play tanky set up and there is like none playing theif mesmer effectivly ( as far as i saw).You can be bored of this meta , but on eu we figured out how to kill all this bunkers…

It’s funny that you say this, because I’ve literally only played this game for a month and a half (I’m Thad).
As far as skill goes, a lot more goes into this game than mechanical rotations (which as far as ele goes, phanta and I are the top 2). With that said, phanta has a lot more game knowledge, rotational knowledge, and positional knowledge than me (since I’ve only played a month). This makes phanta, in my opinion, the best ele in the game (better than denshee) because of how far ahead he is. Every class in this game is easy to pick up and do well with, it’s all the other kitten that makes you a better player.

You can’t 1v1 an Elementalist with an Elementalist, if both players are skilled the fight would NEVER end.

Elistist have you seen Water Magic adept traits? All junk. I bring Arcane Abatement for the lulz. Sure I can have EVEN more regeneration when I get crited or I could reduce Lightning Flash recharge to 32 seconds.

Or I could just jump off any high ledge and lay down a Static Field.

Every map has a surprising amount of areas to trigger fall traits, combined with Ride the Lightning for a homing Static Field.

Well I am not active anymore, but when I was I didnt play Meta.
And I can tell you in normal matches I never had problems with Eles playing Meta-Builds. I ripped them apart usually. I even stood my ground against some hambows prior to feature patch 1.
Ofc Im not talking about top 5 eles or something. Whoever top X-anything is cause the Leaderboards do not tell you that.

But honestly the current celestial meta build relies mostly on active healing.
You wreck up the timing once, you can are easily killed.
You are melee, the only way for you to get some dmg is stacking might, you have the smallest base life pool, you have light armor.
As for “easy” to play, in my guild there were ppl playing Ele as well.
just 3 examples:
1) mains thief, logged in with ele in PvP sometimes, said he will play thief again, cause he feels too squishy as ele
2) mains warrior …. plays warrior in PvP cause its more convenient
3) mains ele,mesmer , plays mesmer in PvP cause its more convenient for her/him

Unless eura changed his build recently, he usually runs power with gs + lb.

why triple cantrip actualy? I admit cleansing fire can be usefull but id rather have arcane shield around if possible. Again I tend to over use arcane might and water field stacking builds.

What is the triple cantrip ele build?

Thing is, ele is lame using celestial amulet, they should have lower heal on pvp or ANet should decrease the amulet stats

Your vod is two months old. You dueled me probably in my first week playing, if not my first couple days.

I’m better than all your bad eles you can list, there’s a reason I’m on a “top” team after just coming back since launch and you or any of your top ten eles aren’t.
Also I agree with you my team is pretty bad, but everyone doubted me when I first came back so I had to settle. Now my team is second place and I’m the second best NA ele

Also I’ll duel you if you ever want just whisper me in game, necros are my hardest match up but I can’t imagine you are anywhere near the level of noscoc or else you would actually be somebody
