I just checked the update tag and their was nothing on changes to the professions. Anyone have a link? OR did Anet lie about their being balance changes?

They posted on the forums weeks ago that the balance changes for October would happen on the 15th and not the 1st. You can look at the overview of the changes on the general forum, though keep in mind the final changes won’t be precisely as outlined.
