Right now projectile finishers with light fields and regen fields do not do what they are supposed to. When projectile goes through a light field it should cleanse a condi. We tested it multiple times with both fields neither proced the regen or condi cleanse.

We even tested it if it cleansed condis off the user of the projectile finisher, but it did not work. Although, projectiles do work through fire, blind fields, and chaos field. It would be a cool idea if the projectile through regen field had a cooldown but gave a small burst heal like a blast finsher heal.

I have never actually seen that work either. It’s almost as bad as whirl in light field, those cleansing bolts never hit a kitten thing.

Hmm, i always wondered what it was clearing anyway. Because i did see the message but no effect either.

Yeah. You can do something similar with water fields if you use projectiles through it. Allies in melee range with the target, or who are caught in the projectile’s path, get hit with a small AoE regeneration. You’ll see numbers pop up to confirm this.

I thought the projectile cleansed a condi from any ally it hits on it’s path (towards the enemy)? Nonetheless it’s very clunky to use an ally-based projectile.

Btw cleansing projectiles have never self cleansed, and teammates must stand in their path. It is however clunky and unrewarding, like most projectile finishers.

One solution would be to increase the uptime of ‘wall’ combo fields, and increase the proc chance of small projectile finishers from 20% to 50%. We know from warrior bugs that even 200% on AA isn’t game breaking.

It would pretty cool if you could put down a light field and projectile finish through it to cleanse some of your condis.
