What programmes are people using to play from EU on NA severs and reduce the latency? Are people even using a proxy service for the tournaments going on atm? I noticed MiM were playing on an NA server for a tournament. Wouldn’t the lag be incredibly high?

Use this as well. Some reason when connecting to gw2 I had 500-700 ms ping. Even though I can Play SC2 at 70ms. BP gives me 30-50 ms ping for gw2.

Im on the west coast of Canada.

Just curious, is this within the Terms of Service? It looks promising.

I had hoped that the developers were going to keep to their design principles and make a game where people with both high and low latency could compete in PvP, but sadly I have found out that is just not the case.

I have read on their web site about how it improved latency for people in New Zealand (where I play from) and was wondering if it was considered “legit” by Arenanet?

Thanks.

It’s as I have always said,
“You can get more results with a kind word and a big stick,
than you can with merely a kind word.”

Not going to lie but I haven’t actually read the tos :O But it shouldn’t as it doesn’t effect game files or data being transfered, rather it just reroutes the data. Same start and end points, just different route in between. I had issues with l3 nodes for what ever reason tried the trial version and it worked so well I bought it.

You can wait on a dev to respond but I doubt you will get a response. Try the trial version and see if you get better ping. Being across the world you can’t expect too much from it but its definitely worth a shot.
