The first Pugquest is coming to EU this Saturday. It starts at 4 PM CEST (which I believe is 10 AM EDT). You can request to be teamed with up to two friends, which will be honored at the discretion of tournament admins. We won’t allow it if top players attempt to do this in a way that unbalances the teams. First place gets 2k gems each, second place gets 800 gems each, and every player that wins a round gets a Mini Llama (byes don’t count). Also, AspectGG is looking for casters for this event, as well as our NA events. If you are interested in either, please contact me in-game and we can talk.

Looking forward to taking part in these once I get my hands on my new rig. Will this be a regular event from now on? Every 2 weeks? Every month?

This will be going on every week at the same time assuming we get enough participants for 8 teams (40 sign-ups). The NA equivalent takes place 6 hours later on NA servers.

you can already assume every person playing a spec will get subpar results just because they’re discovering everything, there will be other betas!

Not interested in signing up but I got bored and browsed the rules so I have a question.

What happens if you actually use “gg” for its intended purpose as you called good game to an opposing team that fought valiantly but lost in the end… You concede the match, lol?

I didnt think the use of gg had gone completely to kitten so that tournaments needed a special rule which proclaim “gg” is the direct eqvivalent of saying “we yield”. I mean they could just say that instead…

Or maybe I’m just getting to old for PvP.

hmm you say gg before the very end of a match to forfeit this particular match, (say, you’re three capped and the ennemy’s points are over 400) i do not see what’s wrong with it, why would you need to go dramatic over that? besides, if you wanna praise your opponent you can always use the traditionnal “wp”, works wonders i swear.

It’s not like we’re enforcing that rule stupidly. You’re up 450-20 and you call gg? We aren’t going to forfeit that match for you. That’s purely for the matches you don’t want to finish because you’re getting stomped.

1st EU pugquest and it already has more signups than the NA pugquest. Maybe if NA players put more effort in, there’d be more decent NA teams around.

To be fair, the first NA Pugquest had 50 free agents. Interest has slowly died down as people get their first Llama I suppose. The second had 70, the third had 100, and the fourth had 80.
