Look I know pug vs premade is always the premade but what about pug vs pug?

last 7 of my matches were as follows:

first one 5v5 against rank 40+ entire team. and my team were I am DOUBLE the next highest ranker…. lost 500-200 sumthin….
second match…
4v5 a no show…
third…. against the old pro guild vs my 4v5…. 500-30….. Im a bunker with 916 power…. scored double what 2nd place was…..
fourth…. my team basically zerged yet still didn’t cap a single point… I had 14 decaps…. 14!!! that’s 1 per minute basically. still lost….
fifth….we won by 1 point in a 4v5.. my team with the 5…. i still scored highest… still no clue how….
sixth… i 1v2’d ENTIRE match on far point. decapped. still lost. how my team loses a 4v3 ill never know.
seventh…. 5v5 with 2 rank 1’s…. I quit????

Um why should I even bother playing?

considering their numerous health problems, i can only agree weren’t natural selection so stilled

tPvP is quite puggable, I made it as far as 96th percentile with pugging only. But I agree that tPvP should be split in to solo queue (Maybe including duo queue) and full party queues with seperate ratings.

(Well actually they should shut PvP down until they fix the 6 month old no-chest issue, but you know Anet…)

Playing most of my time in pugs. Having a good time. I like it the way it is.

Um why should I even bother playing?

Im R44 and have lots of expariance from playing the old tournaments from GW2. People I have been playing with before are not active anymore so after the introduction of leaderboards i have been pugging solo. It has been a terribe experiance, mainly becouse… well everything is random :-)

You get matched up with random people, there is no penalty for leaving the fight and some people simply dont know what to do or how to play.

I know Im deffinitivly good to be on top 1000 on leaderboards, but since I have been pugging all time Im usually around 95-75%. I once even dropped down to 42% becouse for 7 cosiquitive games I was paired with leavers, people going afk, people rank 1-5 and so on. First I was so kitten off I was hitting the desk with my fist and then embarresed when I saw how low my leaderbord position was, 42%.

If you hate pug that much why dont you take time find a new guild or team?

Im aware of this, but thats not what I want to point out. Its about the game mode that shoud be competitve but its inpossible to play it competitive as a solo player. There is a important funcion in PvP that is very poor designed. You have a funcion to play tournaments but you cant be competitive solo.

I gave up with teams as few people want to actually get on at specific times/ use voice/then still suck.

and yea pugs r random sometimes I get lucky but mostly I don’t.

Poor created and coordinated teams is probably even worst then pugs, becouse you wil fight other teams. If you just randomly creat a team of 5 players you wont win many games.

The good experiance I had with solo playing is that as you get higher on leaderboards you get match up with better players.

if you had a time machine, goes back to the time where only GW1 existed (and TA), and tell the player there that in GW2, the “competitive” PVP in the future will consist of a mixture of RA and TA, where pugs fight against premade, I wonder what the reaction will be. LOL~~~~~
