I am sick and tired of losing Ranked matches due to players AFKing at spawn or abandoning a match! The punishment is not severe enough, or it wouldn’t happen every second or third match. When are you finally going to do something about it, ArenaNet???

There has to be a more severe punishment that will affect those players and make them think twice before going AFK or abandoning the match.

You need to perma-ban those players when they have been reported, let’s say, three times. Or ban them for six months if not permanently. Or apply a bigger cooldown the more often they have been reported for AFKing (and you have checked those were accurate reports). ANYTHING than the current status quo. I’ll never get anywhere in Ranked on European servers if this doesn’t change. Been enduring it for too long already!

I agree with you only with a condition plus : put a surrender button. It is unsuefull to jump down when my team is 50-350 …. or also when it is 350 -480 …. so it depends on what you are complain on. Many people go afk when a match is already a sure loss … and without a surrender button is something that i find correct .

First of all, I have seen many matches turn around, so going AFK only lowers the chances of that happening.

Secondly, I agree that a surrender option would be nice, but only because of AFK players who make it a certain loss from the beginning. Yes, I was originally talking about people who go idle at the beginning of a match.

You k own that 99% of those afk players or d/c because of the patch. I got into my game last night and before it started I change class as I play to win and it would not let me back in to game. I loose lots of point I get a hefty dishonor and then messages from my 4guys claiming I am fixing matches. I agree Poeple should play to last point and not quit or afk as 2 days ago we was looseing 435/126 we had ago at each other for sucking then all went try hard got 3 cap and farmed and control whole map we won 500/465 so this proves although a small chance u ain’t winning till last point hits. So hate afkers. I think Poeple should not be banned from a report but a list of reports over a week. If it was a one of rage quit or baby feel over and rl took over banned from the game ain’t fair
