Today I have ran into a player three times, quitting all three times, and Im sure there are more people out there that does this. Is there no punishment for leaving a game? If a player had to wait 15-20 min for quitting or sit through the rest of a crappy game, I hope they would pick sticking around and finish the game out. Its annoying and ruins the experience when people do this, ranked or unranked.

some time ago there was a dishonorable debuff for such ppl
so u could see what kind of person the other is and can prepare
would be useful to have this again
after three stacks = three quits in pvp Q´s u cant play for several days pvp

if so i feel sorry for the leaver,
if not, then i feel sorry for you getting the 4v5

I like the sound of the dishonorable system. Was there any reason given why it was removed?

No, it was LoF, BoK, and CY. Even if it was SH idk why people leave. if they don’t like the maps in unranked, go play ranked.

Edit: they were also tagged up, so i don’t think they took pvp very seriously.

no punishment please. i like to leave all the time, when things don’t go my way.

dishonor were removed after there was a problem with connectivity in pvp
lot of players got DCs and got treated as leavers
to prevent that they removed dishonor
but after solving they did not add it again

I ve DCed few times,and never got that debuff,ever.It always returned me to the game,when i fastly loged back.I think if a person chooses to ruin game for other 9 guys,he should be at least banned from doing it repeatadly…

Maybe i should add that it only applied if u arent there when the game enda

I don’t belive punishment will work… they will still rage quit if their team sucks terrible… even if they will be baned for it.

Banning only get rid of trolls as they can calculate punishment vs their actions but probably most leavers are just players dissapointed with their team progress/cooperation and their decision is more emotional than calculated.

The only way to balance such situation is just add extra survival buff to weakened team …more speed, toughness, power ..whatever necessary to make even competition 4vs5

I agree, and most players banned will never get back to pvp, with this matchmaking bad as it is right now, i wouldnt bother.

what if you leave because someone other left before you and you already did 10 matches with teams that did nothing and you have to play courtyard?

Maybe if anet system wouldn’t put bad player in same side every time. Every match is total face roll.
