Anet, just because you deleted the thread “Should ‘pro’ teams be punished for abusing?” doesnt mean we will forget it about.

Stop protecting pro players, be fair, admit your mistake, take proper action to earn our trust and fix the flawed system.

To make this game mode popular you need to please the mass, not the selected few.

Best way to address this problem is that if there is a group of 4 or more, the lowest MMR player of the group doesn’t count towards the overall MMR.

There’s even another Problem other than Pro-teams taking a low-MMR noob to tank their MMR and it is that they take a very strong player that just hasn’t massed tons of games yet. Just saw a team with an ESL-caliber player that was like emerald in a team of ruby-diamond totally trashing on a stream, against a team of ruby players that solo-q’d.

I don’t think they should because there was no rule stating they can’t team up with lower ranked players and you need to remember the context. Up there queue times could last very long and they needed to get in some matches. Besides given their history we know they deserve legendary anyway. A top 10 player is seriously underrated being in diamond.

“I encourage any of you to write in game report and then report this issue via “support” whenever you see such players abusing Matchmaking system, especially if you have evidence of them doing so.

They just deleted the most noisy thread about this issue, but we shouldn’t give a kitten about censorship and voice this issue as much as possible ;-)"

I’ve obviously reported via support and in-game report.

Good. As I wrote another thread last night on this very topic, I’d like to know exactly where you reported people abusing MMR because I do categorically not believe the thief we had on our team was simply a bad player, he was 100% trying to lower his MMR. Different case of abuse to the ‘exploit’ talked about in this thread, but is equally frustrating and not fun for anyone when we all get punished by being stuck in Emerald for 400 years because people intentionally want to lose matches.

still baffles me that Anet doesnt realize communication could’ve been helpful to avoid all the “noise” this issue has been creating on here.

We all know it’s the holiday, if resources are limited, we will understand. This total silence and removing threads just send the wrong message.

People lowering MMR by throwing, should be reported for -boting-.

People losing on purpose should definitely be punished but solid proof is needed.
