Since the announcement of the turret engi rework, which is most likely gonna be a nerf, we encounter more turret engis than ever. Is this a last, desperate try to climb the leaderboard before your build gets nerfed and you will recognize, that maybe you aren’t as skilled as you thought when it comes to pvp? Is it a big kitten you to the people with builds that actually require you to move and push your buttons? Or do you just need to afk but wanna continue queuing?
We will never know.
However, i had the pleasure to encounter three of said turret engis in one match yesterday and even though it was the most cancerous game i’ve ever played, its ending brought a tear to my eye. I hope, it will at least put a smile on your face.

I know exactly the feeling.

As long as they can nerf the turret Engineer without nerfing turrets to the extent that they’ll never be taken in any build sure. Can’t wait. Not that it was ever OP, just too easy to play and caused way too much forum QQ.

Though to be honest I get the fealing that once turret Engi’s are nerfed, then the nerf demands will move on to the rest of the Engi builds until they are no longer viable.

There is some extreme hate for the Engi. Went from being the least played profession to everyone wants one and everyone hates them.

Got to say engineer in thier current state was an extraordinary class. On my 5th champion title class I got to say engineer was the easiest. There was nothing that class couldn’t do. Turrets, slick shoes, conditions, insane mobility on non turret builds, aoe, crond control, immobilize, they really have it all. I look back on some of thier reasons why they nurfed other classes like hammer damage for warrior and just laugh. I just hope the pendulum doesn’t swing to far.

I love these threads…. “I beat turret engies….nerf plz” For one, you guys made a lot of mistakes that game and still won.

I’m going to continue to beat down turret engies assuming they are really in over abundance again. (I hadn’t seen many this last week)

Nothing to see here. I hope A-Net watches this, along with the rest of the “proof” that turrets are overpowered. I hope they don’t nerf them as bad a some other classes have taken it. I like to use turrets for doing some heart missions and events.

Edit: The changes have been posted. Overall I think its good change, but I hope they don’t bring it over to pve, although I doubt they will make the separation for this change.
