Hey guys.

I really like to experiment with builds and create builds around the traits a class has to offer me. However I often get stuck because the amulet I need does not exist in PvP.
So here is my idea:

*By clicking on the amulet you open the panel on the left side.

  • You select how many stats you want: 3,4,5,6 or 7
  • It automaticly selects how many total attribute points belong to the number of chosen attributes.
  • You fill in yourself where you want the stats.

For example I need a Nomad’s amulet.

  • I select 3 stats,
  • For the major stats I select toughness
  • For the minor stats I select Vitality and Healing Power.

I do not know ofcourse how this would affect balance. Maybe they could leave out the 5 and the 6 stats.
It would anyway help not only me, but alot of players I think. It would open up more build variety in PvP which is healthy I think.

Just split the current amulets into multiple items and allow players to mix-and-match. It’s easy, follows the system used in the rest of the game, and still allows ANet to restrict certain combinations (like Dire).

Just split the current amulets into multiple items and allow players to mix-and-match. It’s easy, follows the system used in the rest of the game, and still allows ANet to restrict certain combinations (like Dire).

this is acceptable as well.

can consider a three way split perhaps? since default max stat for 3 amulets is 3000

Just, why? oO Which build would even be remotely more effective with Ferocity and 0 Power or Precision

Don’t get them to touch amulets again if you want my advice. This is the company who tried to nerf celestial after 18 months but did the math wrong and actually buffed it instead.

But actually you are right, actually I wished for a variation of crusader amulet instead of(Power/Toughness/Healing/Ferocity) I like to get (Power/Toughness/Vitality/Ferocity).

With 0 Power? Is that really worth it?

Edit, math inside :

- Assuming by base a player with 100% crit chance and 25 stacks of might
- with 0 power in gear, you’d have 1750 Power. With Power as secondary stat (900) you’d get 2650
- with 0 Ferocity, you have 150% crit damage. With Ferocity as secondary stat (
900) you’d get 210% crit damage

+900 Ferocity on gear will improve your damage by 40%.
+900 Power on gear will improve your damage by 50%

This is assuming you somehow always crit and always are capped in might.

So conclusion : It’s not even worth it in perfect situations.

You get 100* points, allocate them however you want.
