Hey there!

Alright, so, I am confused with the whole armor/weapon jibjab in PvP/WvW.

I am mostly a PvE’er and have not played hardly any PvP since the BETA’s. But Snowball Mayhem has changed that. (hehe) How does it work? Do you get new sets of armor as you go from being a ‘Rabbit" to “Deer” (I think that’s the next title) from an NPC? Or do you need a certain amount of Glory before a NPC gives it to you or do you have to buy it? Make it? Or do you simply have to make the armor yourself in PvE via crafting it or using the Mystic Forge? You can’t just make any set, right? You have to have gotten a certain amount of glory? points? w/e.

Wow, that was a lot of questions. Forgive my ignorance. Thanks for taking the time to read and help answer.

You get new armor and weapon styles from the chests you receive as you rank up, the style depends on your rank. You can also buy chests from glory vendors and if you want a specific item you can use the mystic forge to craft it.

You can buy all the PvP armor for free at any rank. The higher ranks give different armor but they only change the appearance. Stats are the same.

This only applies to sPvP, not WvWvW where you use your normal (PvE) gear.
