I noticed in the PvP locker, there is cultural armor slots. How does one get it to be used in PvP?

I want to know how to acquire a set, anyone have any information on this?

I think everybody wants to know how to acquire these sets. The strange part about them, from what I’ve noticed at least, is that many of the pieces in the PvP locker cannot be previewed. Is this because the items aren’t fully implemented into the game yet, or is it just a strange coincidence?

As Sanis pointed out, these could very well be from paid tournaments. Another assumption could be that these are pieces you start to unlock once you reach PvP rank 80.

They can’t be previewed if you aren’t the race required from it. If you’re human, you can only preview human cultural armor.

Considering how much the cultural armor sets cost in PvE (especially t3… over 80g), it would be nice if you unlocked the PvP version upon buying the PvE set.

Sadly that is not the case…. maybe they will at least make the t3 set epic. It would still cost far more than the crafted set which has better stats than it currently does as a rare.

You probably need to be a very high rank and get them from reward chest. You might get them from tournament chests but I’d expect to see people with a few pieces of it by now if that were the case… and I have not. shrugs

I think it is safe to assume that the cultural armors are what you start to unlock once you reach pvp level 80. My guess is they are crafted using the highest token (dragon).

Yea the wiki makes sense , I would be dissapointed if they will add them via paid tournaments. Make it the hardest grind at least everyone has a fair chance on getting them not earlier.

I hope you can get any/all armors from paid tournaments. I feel all armor should be easily accessible. Most people are wearing armors =< r20. It’s pretty boring.
