Guild Wars 2

This topic is about PvP-Events that support to participate in pvp and get more ppl in.
These basic Events would be similar to the GW1 Events (eg: double fame, double gladiator-points etc.)

I know it’s a bit too early because GW2 cointains hotjoin and tournaments only. But mabye in the future.

Personally I would implement an Event Weekend like: double rank-points, or double tournament-wins for Champion-Brawler title.
If hotjoin gets more stabile and not zerging-train, mabye double glory would be cool.

I want to know if i’m the only one who had this idea and what you think about it?

I second this. An easy way to boost pvp population with minimal work on Anet’s side I would think.

+1 There’s a ton of stuff they could implement like even mini added bonuses such as random high-tier armor pieces as tournament rewards and the like for said special events.
