So i have been trying to get upon the leaderbaords and I have noticed ever since the update earlier today the boards for pvp have not updated. Just wondering are the games that are currently played rank counting? Reason I ask is because I just finished a 5 win streak.

the leader board does not update in real time. i think its every hour or something.

Patch was 4 hours ago, and pvp queuing was temporarily bugged. Maybe it broke the leader board updater.

Yeah my matches from about 10 hours ago aren’t showing up, despite the leaderboard saying it updated less than 2 hours ago.

The good news is that it’s not just you. The bad news is that it has been broken for about 12 hours and I don’t see any evidence that shows they have even noticed it yet.

i can confirm this, ladder is indeed not updating

Can we not get a dev answer as to why the LB’s have not updated since the build reset on 12/18. Been like 14 hours and still nothing.

My matches haven’t been updated either….not for 2 days. My score is stuck at 12/17 and I’ve played ranked matches since then.

Go figure; Anet creates an “event” for top leaderboard players yet does nothing when players report leaderboards being broken.

aye thanks for the heads up, yeah it really does seems like the leader board is not updating since the patch.

i have not played since the patch and my leader board position is still the same. that is not possible.

I may be asking too much but can’t a dev check the forums right after hotfixes and again a couple hours later to ensure there is no posts about how things are screwed up? I mean there were threads 1.5 – 2 hours after the fix saying nothing was updating. This wasn’t the only one. Could have been fixed last night.

That doesnt seem very fair anet. You guys dont keep this kinda stuff in teh game only on the site? Seems like a poor design plan. I mean I can see my ranked wins and loses why cant you pull it from there? Maybe you have to go through each individual player but thats your job.

I think we pvp players should by now be accustomed by this kind of behavior, but it still hurts :/

You do a patch mid afternoon yesterday. Patches are supposed to fix things, but instead the leaderboard breaks. This wintersday patch was a time to get more people pvping in order to test out your new leaderboard. Instead an entire day goes by with everyone in the dark.

If something is broken such as leaderboards not counting matches, that is something that should be addressed immediately and a notification should be posted on the forums and an alert made in game.

I had a feeling that this would be the case so I didn’t play more than a few games during the last 16 hours. You can’t trust ArenaNet.

Doesn’t matter if you played 2 games or 100. If they are ranked, they should count. What’s the point of a ranked arena if they aren’t being counted toward anything?

This is of course true. Forgot it was a beta session. Still, there are rewards at the end so some will be frustrated and some will be pleased that their games for today are not counted.

I’m just disappointed because im so close to being in the glorious armor reward window, and I’ve been working hard to get my rank up. /end qq

Do we really get nothing to compensate for the games that were lost because of this problem? There are many people who actually just wasted numerous hours today and get nothing out of it …

Next time can you guys be more vocal with your community. I know you guys dont like to tell us anything but just a lil headsup.

Board still isnt updated, would really like to have the PVP matches that i spent time playing in ranked to be logged. Isnt fair to those of us loyal to your game.

Agree. I queued for about 7 hours only to read later that all games I’ve done during this time will be lost. I would really appreciate it if somehow those could still be included in the leaderboard, as it is the first real season we have in pvp and for it to start this way wouldn’t be very positive. I guess the results of those games should be able to be found in the data somewhere?

It has been “fixed” for about 2 hours now. Games you do now will be updated but everything before that is lost atm.

Next time if you see that it is something wrong, just stop playing pvp, it will be healthier for you all instead of crying how many hours you lost…

Lost a 1 and a half day of winning strike in pvp cause of that. Shame and sucks

It’s unfortunate because I won 15 games and lost 2, but at the same time I’m kinda just happy that it’s back online.
