For anyone who enters HoM the following lines are always said. It’s like a bad version of Lions Arch with the same lines being repeated over and over again…
“PVE Scrubs….”
“PVE Heroes….”
“Such kitten teams”
“Go back to hot joins you newbs”

Why don’t we remedy this anet?

Couple of solutions:
In order to join Solo Arena or Team Arena matches one or both of the following must happen:
1) You must be Dolyak
2) Play at least 100 FULL hot join games.

Associated title for completing either or:
“Graduate of the Mist”
title progresses with every full hot join game completed.

I dunno, I got to R13 or 14 via hotjoin before I made some friends who really got me into PvP and I started doing solo and team q. Since then I’ve probably logged something like 100 tourney games, and am R23. I have learned way, way, way more in solo and team q then I ever did in hotjoin. Hotjoin is just a terrible environment to learn how to properly play sPVP, its just a bunch of randoms randoming.

Sure I’m not the best, and I know I still have tonnes to learn, but as someone who at least pays attention and wants to learn I feel that solo and team q have contributed way more to me as a player than hotjoin.

No way, I love watching my teammates solo rush far and blow a 100 point lead when we have home and mid locked up…
