Hey all ! I have heard that it was a lot talking about the ranking system being removed and rating being implemented into SPvP, and now i heard that ranks are not going to be removed wich in fact i agree with and it is good.
But does that mean that Rating is getting scrapped too ?
Cus i think that both systems would be perfect together!
So here is my idea , let me know what you guys think about it , what is bad/good etc
Visibillity:
SPvP rank/level should be more visable to other players ( for instance you could inspect someone to see their Rank level, win/loss ratio, how many matches played with pre-made party and how many played solo. Also if rating would get implemented this should show aswell)
Matchmaking:
To this day what i understand it is random what rank you match up against in TPvP and Normal SPvP, and this is no problem for me in the normal SPvP lobby since i look on it like a laidback PvP lobby where you go to not play so serious.
But in TPvP i would love to be matched against people that is equally skilled as me/my team is, and this is where the Rating system would kick in!
I have a few ideas on this aspect wich i think would work ( good in theory )
1. When you make a pre-made party the game scans your win/loss ratio of every party member and your personal SPvP rank, then gives your team an overall rating, lets say 1800. Now that you got that rating the game will match you with other teams that got a rating between 1700-1900 ( again i am just playing with simple numbers here).
2. You get a personal Rating for your effort on killing, assisting and base capping and when you sign up for TPvP all the party members rating will be combined and matched up to the closest number of your totall team rating ( i know some people dont always run full team in TPvP but it would then be a static rating for the party members that is missing for instance 1500 rating per missing party member)
3. I know that option nr 2 is not very bunker play friendly since it is based on kills, base capping( not base camping) so players that is more out there running around will get higher rating than the point holders ( wich is not very fair ) but i got an option that could work for that aswell.
You will be given a rating based on pure Win and Loss. Let us say that every match you win you get 250 + rating and every loss = – 150 ( this would ofc depends on if you are high ranked or low ranked, so how higher your rank the bigger the number of rating lost is , with a cap ofc ! if you are rated up to 3000 in rating a loss should not decrease your rating by 1000, but maybe 300 instead and on low rating your will lose less rating on lost matches and gain more won matches)
Edit : AFK players will not get win credit , i am sure AN could figure out a system for this ( or maybe they have allready , i never afk in a match so i dont know )
I am sorry if something is unclear in this because of my poor english, but you guys got any questions just ask in the thread and i will respond to them as quickly as i can.
So overall what do you guys think about this ? Would this be good for pushing the game longer into the E-Sport commnity, would you personally like this idea ? what pro`s and con`s do you see on this system , let me know !
