just keep playing , it happens to have a string of bad games, as it also happens to have a string of good games

I had a winning series of abouth 10 wins straight on monday. Then I logged in to play ranked on tuesday and the first 3 games I played within the league were a joke. One we lost by far, and the other two were unbalanced in a way that “we lost by far” couldn’t even describe it.
That said, I think this was a good portion of bad luck, mixed with some confusion of the match making algorithm because so many new (and old) players came (back) to playing PvP again because of the leagues. This will settle in a few days, I guess. If it ever was a problem and not just pure coincidence.

I noticed last night that when you’re just jumping into it, going in to ranked solo you will run into a lot of guild/premade teams right now since everyone is basically starting at the ground level. On the flip side, it’s filled with truly awful solo queuers, so you’re likely to get really horrendously bad teammates. Did a stronghold where none of my teammates even know how to play Stronghold at all.

Not sure why so many people are jumping into ranked while clearly having no earthly clue about the basic game objectives/mechanics.

This!! I feel like everyone was trying it out yesterday even though they have no idea what they are doing.

I went in day from queueing with top players from pro league, to being partnered with people who may have been trying pvp for the first time.

Every 1 wants those wings i asume,and you are rewarded even if you lose if you get most points in the match,just watch sardine runs collecting points,bad luck if you get cought in it….

Reminder to all that Ranked and Unranked have different MMRs; your unranked didn’t influence your current ranked, and your ranked decayed over the course of its being disabled for the past few months, or however long it’s been.

It will take some time for it to normalize. Not saying the implementation was the most solid, but it’s where we’re at.
