PvP rank achievement track oversight?
the tourney rank points where never counting to this achivement. even before patch
I know, but it does not make sense, especially know that anet wants to reward team efforts and not hotjoin farming.

I vote for this to, we want to encourage team efforts and more tournaments, so the chests should afcourse also count towards titles.

Too bad this has not been updated yet. Especially with the 1000 rang points per tPvP win now I will be rank 50 before having the rank 40 title.
I agree. This fix is what I wait most of all.
I am disappointed if it really turns out that I am forced to double cap / silly behaviour in hotjoins in order to advance my main goal that is achievement title.
1000 rank points is ZERO WORTH for me if my achievement advances like 30-50 points for that very game!
The buffed rank points count towards the monthly achievement, but not to the long term achievements, very silly.
Didn’t even realize this problem existed and I’m rank 51. With all the tournament games I’ve played, I should be marauder by now… So much for avoiding hotjoin, huh. Please fix this and make sure to do a rollback to restore our lost rank points.

Yea, I honestly feel very sorry for others that are much higher ranking than me and showing title that is lower than my own.
The fix should be easy and it should be done retroactively. No one that is R40 should be denied “Ransacker” title IMO.
Unlike the infamous “Skyhammer issue” this fix would only have winners.
It should be more than easy to recalculate the achievements by calculating it directly from your pvp rank. But I would be very happy already if it would only be fixed for future matched, but retroactively would be even better.
Hehe yeah i think it should be fix, coz skyahmmer farmer gets the title faster than those play tourneys. Im rank 64 but its like tier 6 of 10 to ravager.ΓΌ but in reality i should have gotten it at rank 60.

Fixing this should take like 30min of development time max, but what should we expect from a company needing over 1 year to fix wvw queues.

Not really a bug! Just the feature, that the rankpoint-rewards from winning a tournement (450 Squeue/1000 Tqueue) isn’t counting for your title. So there are players rank 56 only playing tournements and didn’t have the “Marauder” titel yet.
But skyhammerfarmers with r60 and “Ravager”.

Not fixed Its redicilous how long this takes.
It seems like this was only half fixed.
The account medal on the character select screen now seems to be based on your rank points.
The achievement however seems to still be based on the old system of points gained in the match (captures, kills, etc).
e.g. my account medal shows 55x,xxx which matches with my rank exactly, whilst the achievement is at something like 36x,xxx still.
The account medal has been fixed for awhile now. It’s the achievement that has been bugged since forever, and will probably be bugged forever.

They promised to fix the achievement also but so far there is no word when.
Considering how many players wear this series PvP achievement title I would assume there would be some priority to fix it as it is integral part of PvP rewards.

I doubt it will be online tomorrow at this point, it looks like this would be a quick fix to implement but they’re taking forever to solve this
We have multiple teams all working on different things at different times. The fix for is bug lives with the rest of the upcoming PvP features and will be released at the same time. Since this bug fix will be retroactive, we’re not worried about trying to squeeze it into an earlier release.

You guys really aren’t worried about squeezing any fixes into any release, as it relates to pvp. First it was, “big patches”, then it was, “no will move things to smaller releases so you don’t have to wait”, now it’s “BIGGER AND BESTESTSTSTSTSTSTSTESETSTS patches”. All the lip service you guys give that only serves your current staffing pattern is tiresome.
You want to know why the hundreds of players that each of us brought over from other games left? Well, you already know why and yet you still choose to do nothing for proper pvp staffing. All the people that we pulled from other games (it wasn’t you guys who did it) all left and they’re not coming back. You think those releases in China are going to do anything differently for you? You’ll do the same thing to them as you did to us. FRUSTRATION AT AN ALL TIME MAX

I’m all for testing and making sure bugs don’t make their way into games, which then lends to the question of why there still isn’t a PTR?
