Celestial amu has its plays in some hybrid builds
I presume that celestial made sense mathematically but celestial amulet only works if your prof has a good distribution of power/condi damage and enough incoming healing.
So imo its made for ele, engi and ranger but with the way things are distributed it still isn’t very practical.
Depends on how the weapon is put together. Though all I’ve tried it on is else and I didn’t like the results. Maybe engis fair better.
Divinity runes are fine.

The lack of magic find is why you can’t profit in pvp :p.
I agree Cmstorm/ensoriki, they should add magic find to pvp.
Celestial ammy faces the same problem the PvE version has. The power loss is just too great. At least in PvE/WvW I can mix it with other things, so I can make up for this loss of power. However in PvP I can’t, and it’s pretty much useless.

In PVE it had some sense cause of the good total bonus stats plus the magic find (before the magic find removal).
In PVP it has about the same stats of other amulets but with a worse distribution.
The celestial amulet is under-budget compared to its PvE equivalents. Each stat on celestial should be about 60% of a secondary stat from a three-stat combo. The amulet is about 52%. It would need an additional +46 to each stat (for a total of +341 each) to bring it up to par using the formulas from PvE.
The amulet is indeed not viable, but the Divinity Runes actually do see some play in very niche oriented specs.
Really the ammy system is poorly executed in general. I hope this is something that they look into in the future.

1)
It nets you less total stats.
2)
Power/crit/critdmg and %dmg bonuses from traits all scale off of each other.
Missing stats in any of them is taking out multiplicitively more and more dmg. Having 278? in each is just trash, its about 5 times worse than berserker amulet dmg.
3)
Vitality is next to useless.
4)
healing power is next to useless on most builds.
A bad, bad, bad amulet for anyone.
You will numerically do, in next to every case, far better with some other amulet.
