Is ArenaNet going to implement legendary weapons in PvP?

I didn’t said PVE stuff. I want to farm pvp legendary by playing pvp not playing pve -.-

i whant never see this ugly legendary weapons in pvp.
to much effects at this weapons also not fun, its enough effects without legendarys in a 3vs3 fight

You’ll have access to Legendaries at Rank 80. It should only take you 4 or 5 years to get there.

then just disable fancy effects at pvp maps and simply enable it in hearts of the mists..

Rank 80 is actually tier 3 cultural armor and destroyer, frozen, and something else weapons

yeah, maybe i will have maybe i will not who knows, but it definitly should take the same amount of time to get it in pvp as it does in pve

oh, thank you for answer. it doesn’t fit my expectations and i hope that they will change their decision because i would get an awesome goal as a casual pvp player.

I think it would be cool if hey gave legendaries to top teams/players in official tournaments and events and stuff.
As long as its still rare and not everyone can et them by farming. Currently all pvp rewards are farmed, a total noob could get rank 80 eventually and all achievements.
I hope they add a way to reward skill instead of farmers soon.
Maybe this: every week a special tournament is held where alot of teams do conquest, the wijning team all gets a legendary for a week(untill the next tournament).

The day I see twilights sweeping the screen black or rainbow bows shooting unicorns in sPvP, is the day I alt+F4 and deinstall.

Prestige-Titles and listing top-teams in observer-mode are the way to reward competitive players. Shiny toys aren’t the way.

You can already see legendary skins in the PvP item bank. I’ve also seen The Predator’s skin on players, coming from tourney reward chests.

Ive went through the locker alot of times, previewing everyhing but ive never seen legendaries :O.
