Don’t get me wrong, build becomes increasingly important the higher up we go in organized matches.
But no matter how OP a build is, if you solo queue (a good majority of us do) and end up with a trash team, you end up with trash results
I’m shocked the level of ignorance most people have about map rotations and basic combat. I don’t think I’ve had teammates as bad as the ones from this weeked. I’m generally friendly and passive but I just nod my head in disbelief how terrible a lot of players are.
What I’ve observed is that:
When they are over the top with emotes before match begins – wish yourself lots of luck
When they are geared to the nines – wish yourself lots of luck
When they look homeless – wish yourself lots of luck
When they jump a lot before match begins – wish yourself lots of luck
When they talk about nonsense or non match related topics – wish yourself lots of luck
One positive take away is that the queue times are shorter :/

From now on I’m going to start each match with a few emotes, a rigorous amount of jumping, and at least one nonsense comment.
:D
Maybe they could introduce some more visual queus to direct newb traffic. Like, if home gets decapped the game states as much on the screen. But it doesn’t say so for far. That way players with no concept of proper rotations will take note and quite possibly respond to a home decap, and naturally cycle back to mid afterwards.
Could even make some sort of “Rotation suggestions for newbs” feature that can be toggled on/off that gives newbies these notifications to get them into the game.
Minimap can ping relevant locations with the notifications.
Expansion launched → lots of new and returning players.
It’s as easy to grasp as A-B-C. Try grouping up… (lollersk8tes).
I jump like crazy before matches. I just realized how terrible I must be. FeelsBadMan

Ok fine but just please be a human male and say lots of obvious pvp things and then invite the whole team to do fractals after match win or lose
Ahh the reason why I’m so bad is because I jump a lot and I’m geared, didn’t know this, thanks for the insight! I’ll make sure I stay very still, be naked and not do anything, that will net us a win, right?
In all serious the MMR is jacked atm so just wait for leagues however your terrible stereotyping is doing no one any favors.

lol
I do all of those except for emotes and nonsense talk lol, I iust like to jump when there’s nothing to do. And apparently I like to make my character look good with pve stuff. But I still win lol
There’s some truth to his stereotyping even though it was done out of humor.
On nifhelm, I like to jump from pole to pole because nobody press that god kitten “I’m Ready !” button… Am I in the wrong ?
And trust me somebody that doesn’t talk can be even worse…At least with the one who talks you know he will try an “exotic” theory.
PROPS to abc. He uses humor so that he doesn’t offend anyone but A LOT of the stuff he said is true.
This happened a few matches ago when I was on my alt former skyhammer engie. The team had double and triple cappers. Unreal. Why don’t they realize that when they do multi-cap they put their teammates at huge risk.
Ofc the match after this was a 4v5. How I keep playing this game, I don’t really know.
Your engie’s name is so troll. It’s even better if he has a champ genius title.

He has the title, certainly. What was even funnier is that he’s lvl 1. Sadly your pve level isn’t visible anymore.

I just realized how many times this has actually happened… :O
We need exceptions to some of the signs of bad pugs, like jumping around on the tents in Forrest of Niflhelopolous means that person is 2legit. And homeless is a good look for Rangers.

meet my ele Shamiquah or Shammy. She loves jumping. Even though she’s a very young mother, she’s proud of not being homeless and lives happily with her grandma.
Edit: I have a lvl 1 too

I jump and /dance while I wait for a match to start.
I must scare quite a lot of PvPers.
Team quality also applies in the highest tiers of pvp. Abjured admitted that the close friendship amongst one another gave them a strong competitive advantage. And it makes sense because imagine if you played in a team where each person sincerely cared and will always be there to back you up.
Not all top tourney teams have the privilege of friendship. And friendship yields the highest quality team you can get
