Ok, I have been reading through the wiki and something is kinda bugging me. What are paid tournaments and what are the fee’s associated with them? Also, as far as spvp goes, is there a tutorial or something to see if its something I want to do???

Paid tournaments aren’t in the game, yet, and we don’t have too many details on the system. All we currently know is you pay through tournament tickets obtained via gems, and tournament chests.

There isn’t a tutorial per se, as the only way to really see what PvP is is to experience it. Fighting NPCs will never be the same as fighting another player. That said, there are class NPCs, cannons, bosses, and trebuchets in the Mists so you can get a feel for what each map is like. The only real way to see if it interests you is to jump into some 8v8 and try it. There’s no pressure there as everyone just zergs anyway, and the win bonus is so miniscule it’s rare anyone really plays to win.
