I don’t want to beat a dead horse but we’re a good few weeks into the season now and the queue times are still absolutely ludicrous. Consistently 30+ minutes even on prime time despite many many people reaching legend. I don’t remember this being as much of a problem in season 2.
Game is just unplayable again..in legend you just can’t q.
Hope they don’t wait the end of the season to do something or it will again be really boring for people that only do PvP.
It was the same in S1 and S4 is S1 matchmaking. This was to be expected, don’t act like it wasn’t.
Ofc it was expected as it happens every season lol would have been surprised if was not the case. But hope they do something asap. Maybe they have something like a parameter to shorter the q time…

Not much they can do other then bring back the fun and competitivness to GW2’s sPvP again.
- No more putting solo queuer’s against premades no matter the size.
- No more class stacking, I mean come if you can’t have class stacking in your ESL, then how can you even think it’ll be ok for the rest of the players.
- Better Build system in sPvP, do away with the amulet/rune system it’s broken.
- Stop being special and show everyone’s ELOs or MMR on the team screen before during and after the match.
- Make sPvP fun again so it’ll attract more players instead of pushing players away. Smite, and Overwatch have proven you can have a highly competitive scene without degrading your causal playerbase which some will tranistion to competitive then to MLG.
Till atleast some of those are addressed expect longer and longer queue time in GW2’s sPvP till the fun of PUGstomping with premades become uninteresting because of the queue times.

Exept in Season 1 … 70% of the time you didnt loose a PiP , cause you where protected from the ’’Chance of Win or Score enought Team Points so you wont loose a PiP .
The Mist where filled with Diamnonds players + at the Banks in LA + in the WvWvW .
And pro player whined about that the casuals could easily reach Diamond .
Most players atm are stuck in Ruby or something else (and they blame their team8s !!!!)
And even less played in Season 2 +3 :P
DO SOMETHING PLZ ANET.

too tru, if they actually focused on making it fun again, then it could see at least some kind of revival.
someone pted this out once
make it fun
- more players pvp since its… fun
- better population means better Q times
- better Q (and more people) means more people will try to organize as teams
- more teams means more competition in the top tourneys
- more competition + more people can increase the drive for people to actually watch the matches
- more people watching matches means we can start to think of esports again
Even unranked has some long q times for what it is…so game is dead ? nobody playing it anymore i guess ?
Queue times certainly could be better, but from my experience they are not terrible right now. I am tier 4 in legendary division and my queue times are usually about 10 minutes, sometimes less and very rarely much more than that. I see people complaining about 5 minute queues in HotM but in my opinion a 10 minute queue really isn’t that bad. From this point though, the waiting around will only decrease as more people get to legendary and beyond.
Last season I had queues of 10+ minutes in flippin’ emerald and sapphire. I gave up one tier into sapphire, not worth it.
At least now I can queue in other game modes so I can harvest wood or something while I wait.
OK PVP IS BORDERLINE UNPLAYABLE AT THE MOMENT. CONSISTENTLY 1+ hour queue times with maybe 1 hour a day that you can actually play
THE GAME NEEDS TO BE PLAYABLE TO BE SUCCESSFUL PLEASE DO SOMETHING
SERIOUSLY
I rather enjoy my 5 min queues.
perhaps a little forsight next season?
It seems EU is much more active than NA, in NA you won’t get a Qpop not even in prime time and that’s pretty sad.
I and many others have to use our Alts to play ranked… like seriously anet do something.

I was getting 12 minute queues in sapphire playing duo with my friend last night. Basically if you play outside of NA prime you’re R.I.P regardless of division.
Not really surprised since this matchmaking is utter trash.

borderline unplayable? it is actually unplayable, i get 2 hour q’s and then the q auto disbands after 2 hours. I LITERALLY CANNOT pvp even if i wanted to.
I dont know at what times u loging in, but my ques are about 10 minutes plus minus 2 minutes.
I play between 17:00 and 21:00 gmt +3.
You are EU they are NA, totally different.
Yes now it’s better. It was just the start of the season.
