pretty childish to post that. i would have atleast expected an update on what is going on and what are the delays for when it will be fixed and why it is bugged. Not a stupid image. It’s funny to see how Anet don’t really care about PvP. When there is a bug in PvE it takes less than 20 mins before you patch something and update everything. Ive had my screen bugged for more than 2 hours with the stupid map selection tab and i can’t do nothing because even if i close my client and re-open it the tab is still there. So please fix it…

These are the developers who WORK on the bugs posting. I’d much rather they post a GIF to confirm they read the thread than post an essay when they should be working the bug. They fixed it very rapidly, so I say: A+ Evan / Justin.

That doesn’t sound related to PvP (as PvP doesn’t have log-in servers outside the regular GW2 servers.)

I have the same problem but only with this account if I use my other account it’s perfectly fine playing on the same comp with the same connection and even ip so i don’t think it’s a connection problem

Literally nothing happens when I try to soloQ. I just hear the click sound but nothing more.

Still not able to start my private Arena with my friend. Still telling waiting for players but we are one at every side, so the Game should start but nothing. Event no ready to play button nor any map choice we can do.

After leaving arena we are ported to pvp area instead of staying in our pve world we started the game from.

So is the ranking system now based on professions now? Like someone can’t farm with a thief then queue with a class they never played with?

Something about, it looks at your W/L ratio on your thief, if you play thief bad (loss a lot) it will count you as a bad MMR player.

But when you play your turret engineer, man oh man you do so good (win a lot), its going to count you as a really good player MMR wise.

Pretty good system I think, because I sure don’t play every profession as good as I do on my best (100% AR sumo engy, RIP).

I’m not good by any means, but i can tell when people are queued with a brand new class they haven’t tried before, basically making it 4v5

For best matchmaking results your pie chart should look something similar to mine.

So looking at mine, if I play an engineer I’d be setup with good players, but if I go guardian I will be setup with baddies. Although previous matchmaking set me up against good players. And my W/L record on guardian is pretty good so far, above 50%.

Yeah If I click on any arena.. a screen pops up saying log in error, etc.

When i try to queue i get the error 42:0:9001:4409:101 saying cant access login servers due to firewall. I never had the issue before today and my firewalls have been disabled for a long time.

I’m also having this problem. I can click the queue buttons, but the UI does not change at all, until over a minute later a ‘could not connect to login server’ message pops up. Previously I’ve only seen this error rarely when attempting to change lfg tab while jumping, and a few other seemingly random times, but it has had no effect on gameplay whatsoever.

Edit: Perhaps I should mention that I was able to get into one match earlier, just after the patch went live, but have been getting this error ever since.

however, i’m very sad that i am unable to surf hotjoin games now.

I can join Practice alone, but unranked and ranked is not working for me (the animation doesnt play and this has persisted since the patch hit, and then the second patch aswell).

I can however, enter Ranked arenas if im IN A TEAM, with someone and they enter aswell. so at the moment im unable to enter solo.

I should note that my second account on EU does not have the issues that this account does. It is most certainly not a firewall issue, as the error message suggests.

Just want to chime in that I’ve had 3 4v5s in 4 games, and each time my team’s 5th came in late saying the queue wouldn’t let them in. By that time it didn’t matter because the game was too far gone. I haven’t personally had a problem though.

Having issues with Unranked and Ranked arena. Not letting me join because of firewall (turned off firewall still had issue) but I am able to join hotjoin matches.

I’ve done both, and both worked without any issue. It’s only when im solo.

I am also having the problem where when I try to join a pvp match (ranked or unranked) nothing happens. the button clicks and the click sound happens then nothing…. until a minute later a failure message pops up for each time I clicked. the code to the message is:

Code 42:0:9001:4409:101

Hope this helps. I am playing through my College campus’ network. Had a problem similar to this in past but it happened when I tried to log onto a character from the character selection screen instead of PVP. Turns out the problem happened because the campus got a new firewall protection piece of equipment which recognized Guild Wars as a Peer to peer sharing service.

PS I found your GIf pretty funny but its not exactly what I would call professional behavior. If you would have just said “We recognize the problem and are currently working on it” I doubt anyone would have a problem with it.

Yep, I can’t even queue up for a match other than Practice Arena.

If I click either unranked or ranked I just hear the click noise and then nothing happens…After 20-30 seconds a pop-up then displays with the error shown in the attached file.

Exact same issue happens with me. I can initiate when I’m in a party, or accept when I’m in a party, but I cannot initiate entrance into either unranked or ranked arenas when solo.

*edited: CORRECTION: It turns out, I can only queue/initiate a group when someone who doesn’t have the issue is in the party. If I and another person in the party both have the issue, neither of us can queue, even in a party together. Also, as an additional note, the person who doesn’t have the issue is on the same network I am.

Just tried again, Issue still persist.
animation for the banner doesn’t play. nothing happens. i don’t even get the error message that some people in here are reporting. just, blank, nothing….

Disagree I thought it was funny, they are doing what they can to resolve issues. The system had just started so there is always bound to be bugs.

Yep… same here.

I click to join the queue, and 10 – 20 secs later this kitten message pops up… -_- I have no other accounts.

Also having this same problem where I can’t queue up. Hopefully it’ll be fixed later today
