Has the population dropped already?

I am sitting in Q for 6 minutes this afternoon.

Maybe they tightened up the matchmaking to wait longer for a decent, fair match without pros in it?

you’re in the afternoon of a week day, it,s a dead time for Anet.
Maybe that some took days off for the first time because they wanted to test it properly and be the first to hit emerald but had to go back to work afterwards.
On another note, maybe they did tightened up matchmaking, or you’re simply in a higher ladder?
Did you hit Sapphire or had a couple of consecutive win streak that elevated your mmr?

I’ve stopped PvP and go back to PvE. I think the population dropped, but not by much though.

I was PvPing non-stop for the last 3 months. I have around 4k PvP games under my belt.

Guess what just happened today? I quit PvP.

Guess what my PvP premade mostly did yesterday/today? If you said quit you might be onto something.

My queue as a solo player on a 13 game win streak was already 8 min yesterday. A couple of throwers made me lose, I demoted all the way to emerald 0 (from 4 pips) and now I just cant take it.
