Nah if they moved after the effect was applied it’d result in a knockdown.

Edit: or if bolas struck a moving player it would be a knockdown. That would make me chuckle.

so whens the hotfix coming out? I’m still bugged, not getting any pops/team matches at all.

Fine, fine: Singularity. I’ve seen Mist Form and I’ve seen RtL, neither move faster than light. Have them stuck in combat with Cthulhu for good measure so that they can’t waypoint, oh and overflow so that they can’t enter WvW.

Being in overflow doesn’t stop you from entering WvW, you just have to guess a bit about which of the Unknown Borderlands is the one you want to enter.

This is my first time time posting in the forums. And I’ve been playing pvp since I got gw2 in december. I’ve been browsing pvp section once in awhile and hoped that anet will do something to really rescue pvp and address the issues brought up in here. but reading the devs posts above makes me feel like they’re taking these things as a joke or rather being neutral about pvp content. What a shame!

Judging by the response from anet; playing hotjoin while waiting for a tournament.

Thanks to Jon and Evan for getting this done and communicating so well once they got on this issue. I wish that we had more resources like them available to assist the PvP community.
