so i decided to go for the ambrit weapon collection now, but somehow i dont get any geodes out of the maguuma wastes reward track?

anyone knows why?

Maybe because geodes now go directly in your wallet?

Unfortunately, the track doesn’t give enough geodes for one full Ambrite weapon – you need 425 (t4) to purchase the recipe. One track will give you around 350 maybe. So you’ll slowly start falling behind. A time will come when you’ll have all the insects, but nowhere near enough geodes to craft them.

At this point, you’ll either be forced to go to dry top and farm events during t4+ sandstorms, or keep repeating the Maguuma tracks and wasting the insects you get at the end.

It’s really lame I know. We shouldn’t be forced to do PvE content.

I completed the entire collection so i can give you some suggestions:

1) Accumulate Geodes. Don’t spend them on T4. You can get geodes from dust too (and it’s not a trascurable amount)

2) Spend Geodes only in T6 Dry Top. You can go on Gw2community, they often organize T6 runs. Buy recipes only on T6 run.

I suggest to repeat Maguuma track multiple times and only when you have the right amount (340@T6 x 16 weapons) you can go in pve to buy every recipes you need. In 1 T6 run.

Remember, you need all weapon crafters to make every Ambrite weapons.
