Its not just the aura. Its the walking and shooting effect, and the weapon itself.

Well, he probably used some glitch to convert it… I should look into this. I’d much rather have my juggernaut/kudzu/howler in pvp.

happens sometimes if you had legendary equiped, went to pvp and got downed and rezzed back, especially after being moa’ed

There are leaked codes for PVP Legendary skins fyi which will show up as [PvP <name>]

The code wouldn’t have the sigil on it.

The code wouldn’t have the sigil on it.

If you understand hexadecimal it’s trivial to change weapon chat codes to have the sigil included.

All this guy (or one of his friends) did was pull the chat code for the new pvp legendaries out of the .dat (which is not particularly hard to do)

Like WE said you are wrong, the visual bug is just the aura of quip(or any of the other legendary weapons that have an aura), and what is in the screenshot is the FOOTPRINTS.

Not only is it the footprints, it shows the confetti that comes out of the pistol.

Since you can’t seem to agree on whether this is an exploit or not, I am willing to test it for the benefit of the community.

I always que from PvE, and I have yet to have any of my legendaries effects carry over to PvP.

At best I have seen my Purple Aura come over however I always thought it was just on my client that I was seeing it.

Personal Speculation:
I wonder if it’s a recently crafted legend that had some bonus options when created.

Hmm.. this is really interesting. Should not be possible to get a legendary weapon in PvP now! So glitch or bug i think.

I think if you buy the Cultural set from the new PVP vendor, and salvage them, you get chance of very high level token (dragon?) and you can make legendary with it

That screenshot is from before the patch. I assume it is an anet dev in disguise.

Any of you have actully played engineer in spvp and opened up the hero panel with a kit equipped? If not try it, you will see your PVE WEAPON untill you drop out of the kit and change tab back and forth or reopening the hero panel.
That bug+a visual bug = this screenshot?
