R20 for ranked. It doesn’t fixes anything! So, you guys asked for it – keep noobs away from ranked yet top players/teams are queing for unranked. WTF? Why? I mean, I shouldn’t be playing again 4/5 Abjured in unranked.

I know I know. They are customers/players too and should be able to que whatever they want. Right? Wrong. If you’re going to put a restriction in for ranked, put a restriction in for unranked. If you are above x MMR, you can’t que for unranked.

How about….. no. At no point should you lose out on a game mode option for being a good player. Leagues should hopefully address some of your concerns. And yes they are players too. Anet is never going to punish them for being good ones.

MMR for Ranked and Unranked, per the wiki, are different so at least there should be some correlation. For example, there was a solo-queue person who plays ranked all the time trying unranked and they were given a lower MMR than their Ranked MMR so they were not matched with people of the same caliber.

Point being, teams playing in Unranked so they can practice are not really going to get the right training because they won’t be matched with the same MMR that they would get in Ranked. Same goes for Solo-queue people. If you are a good player in Unranked or Ranked, you are a good player. The system should pick that up.
