You guys are overthinking it. Think about it this way, its a condi tank that only has access to torment, poison and limited burning, NO BLEEDS from what I see. Its offense in terms of power damage is conpletely based on being spammed with condis, it has very little protection against power damage other than facetanking it with heavy armor. That brings me to another point, based on the skills we saw, Revenant has only one mobility skill and its targeted. OP? No way? Its basically a crappy necro that’s tankier vs condis. Not just that, but looking at the way that the skills are used, they’re very clunky and I think in pvp it’ll be hard to actually hit a lot of those skills. Overall im thinking Rev is going to be UP not OP. They only thing that worries me even a little bit is the Mallyx(?) elite skill.

I don’t know if UP, at least their traits seem really strong and with decent sinergies. But from the looks of it, they will need to do a smart use of Unyielding Anguish or else they seem to be even better train/focus targets than Necromancers.

We haven’t seen all the weapons they have and neither have we seen all the skills they have. To assume OP or UP is kinda too early. Playing it will determine that though.

As far as condi damage, it has:
- Torment (and lots)
- Poison
- Confusion
- Burning (3s on a 10s CD), basically IP – requires using elite skill (which you will pop in and out of as mallyx)
- All the same sigil procs other classes have

The only one missing so far is bleeds. Now let’s think of some combos: stack lots of confusion (with mallyx skills), swap to jalis and taunt (if you interrupt and proc perplexity, which is probably coming to pvp)…gg.

Now, look at reve’s healing capability: seems to be stronger than an ele with traits that give INSANE hp/s

It has high damage mitigation potential from buffs in jalis form. It can have 50% projectile reflect uptime, that also provides life-steal on using auto-attacks.

Finally, it will be very evasive, which necros are not. It has a 1-pt minor trait that is: gain 1 dodge on-hit, 10s ICD (basically feline grace).

The class is jam-packed with some OP mechanics atm. It will be OP with the right combo(s), that is clear. It will just be a matter of finding the right build(s) and playstyle.

Revenant has one of the longest AOE 5 layers confusion + boon strip.
They have one of the best and shortest CD AOE burning skill in the game (4 secs burning without any stat modifier on a 3 sec cool down, 480 radius + hit 5 targets, insanely OP burn). They also got aoe torment too.

Also stability on dodge on a minor trait is insanely OP too.
Basically you have a secure heal or crucial skill usage after a dodge, which is a huge deal in pvp environment. With sigil of energy and trait, basically you have the shortest CD stability in the game that are very reliable.

^ Blackbeard is correct about the healing capabilities. The healing traits are bonkers. 2 of the traits combined essentially give you 615 hps (with however much healing he had in the video). Almost 2 healing signets in an adept and master trait, yes please.

Also there is boon duration to consider when thinking about resistance/stability up time. 30% from traits + 15% from traveler runes can mean almost 75% up time of resistance with the #7 ability from the video. I haven’t done the math on stability but ~3.5 seconds of stability from a dodge is pretty crazy.

Geomancy/Earth Sigil will be powerful on revenant also because the bleeds either get buried under all your other conditions better guaranteeing they stick for full damage, or because they can provide cover for all your other conditions and be cleansed without as much consequence as a condition class that stacks bleeds.

Of course, this is only with the information we know and without a doubt things will change a ton. But, with the information we have, I feel revenant is quite powerful.
