Can we have that map back please, at least in Unranked matches?

Now that there is map voting why not let people choose if they want underwater combat or not?

because, for whatever reason, they completely removed the ability to setup underwater weapons, sigils, and skills in the pvp build window, so people would end up in the map without 1/2 their abilities and weapons.

I would love to see the map come back, but altered, maybe water removed instead, or replaced with another mechanic (quick sand from http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Nomad%27s_Isle)

I asked this before, it’s not coming back.

I actually miss this map quite a bit. I miss 8 vs 8 way more though. </3

Just take a look at that link harbinger put up.

Well last time i checked underwater combat was rather unbalanced. So unless this has changed (which it hasent) it may be for the better to not have an underwater map.

It is unbalanced. Terribly unbalanced. I wish it would be fixed and balanced though, because underwater combat is so cool in this game.

yeah, underwater combat is broken.
but the map can be salvaged.

just remove the water, fill up the sea bed with sand, and we’re good to go.

I always thought I was invincible as a necro underwater….

Raid had the potential to be a second TDM map. All they need to do is get rid of the points and drain the lake. You could leave the ship. They reworked temple removing the underwater portion…
What really bothered me when this was removed was that there was a 2k thread about removing skyhammer…and they removed raid.

Raid of the Capricorn was my favorite map. They should drain the lake, move the ship back and put the point inside. All these changes could be done by 1 guy if he dedicated a week to it. GG Anet.

No, because game starts and everyone jumps to lava not even reaching side points.. :(

Your team will need leap skills, swiftness jump or immunity to survive the lava swim.

which mean u will need a specific build just like skyhammer

or they can make it so you incur burning while in lava and get crippled.

Yeah underwater combat was not balanced but I kinda still liked the map. I don’t really care if they replace the water or not even if they just put it in for unranked or hot join this was a funny map and I really don’t see why you should ever delete content.

+Removing this map instead of balancing underwater was quite a lazy choice to do.

A non underwater version of raid on the Capricorn would be nice.

It was my favorite map. Along with 8 vs 8 removal, pvp toxicity, removing this map, and other stuff, made me play pvp not (or barely) for over a year.

I’m only playing it because i want ascension achievements, nothing else. It’s terribad atm. Hell I’d even take a tournement with raid of capricorn, over the current pvp state in foefire.

I liked Capricorn,but I think I miss the 8vs8 fights the most.

Bring it back, Im tired of the same 4 maps all the time

Yes, please bring it back so I can play a tanky healing druid and never leave the water. I’ll never die, just like the old days but even stronger with smarter pets!
