Rampage and Lich need a nerf/rework
At the very least, nerf the auto attack, and make the other skills more reliable and powerful to use, so that there is some skill in these elites.
Agree with Lich, but with Rampage you need to know a minimum about 2-5 if you wanna be useful at all

Lich damage should be nerfed by probably 50%, and they definitely shouldn’t have stability since they can already kite with ranged attacks. Warrior rampage is fine, it’s honestly a l2p issue if you can’t deal with this. Work on timing your dodges and using soft cc and rampage becomes a joke, very easy to deal with.
Rampage does just as much damage as lich and it has CC, can stomp, and doesn’t remove stances… How can you even compare these two? Lich pales in comparison.

Rampage is kittenin better than Lich, like 5 times better… Dmg, CC, faster attacks, increased mobility, immune to CC,…

4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
Lich is fine. It has quite a bit of counter-play (block, blind, LoS, projectile hate, protection works to an extent). It also only lasts 15 seconds on a base 180 second cooldown. You’re likely experiencing Chill of Death and Close to Death as well as Air + Fire sigil procs all in a short window. Lich without that stuff is pretty tame.
Rampage might be a little too good, but it’s not game-breaking. You can kite rampage, but if it gets you in an initial CC lock, you’re probably dead or going to blow a lot of cooldowns.
Most elite transforms should be pve only imo.
Lich is awful.
Lich needs the icebow treatment (skills other than 1 should be buffed). Lich 2 especially needs a buff. A skill that cool looking should have a meaningful effect in game (it doesn’t).
I don’t mind Rampage on warrior, although Rampage interaction with traits is problematic. I do mind Rampage on engineer, its too strong whn the skill also gives them AoE moa.
Ranger needs a “rework” before Lich and Rampage gets any attention.

personally, while i do agree that peak performance causes issues with rampage i think both of these skills at base are fine. they make teamfights exciting and can be countered easily. I’ve had a bunch of games lately with lots of lich and rampage, and never feel powerless against them. a good counter to these forms, especially rampage is to kite the warrior (easy hes full melee) while killing and safestomping one of his pals.

How about just give all other classes OP ults?
Eg: Triple the damage of Thief’s bladestorm, equipping ele’s sword also grants stability, Ranger’s rage as one increases damage by a stacking 10% for every hit the pet/ranger makes, Mesmer already has an OP ult, but still a bit lacking comparatively, so maybe make Moa aoe, etc.
Note that all these buffed ultimates would be countered easily so should be fine (as explained by above posters).

It’s true that Lich’s AA overshadows the other skills with Rampage it’s the stomp ability and stances no damage,stab nerf or ban are needed.

Remove rampage from warrior and buff the rest of his skills. Outside of rampage it only feels like vs warrior or meditation dps guardian are skill based fights and the rest are matchups.

Counters- Moa both from engy and mesmer, any fire skill that causes blind, blocks,invulnerability,distortion, invisibility, plague elite skill, being a good mesmer and ele in general. Tell me on a melee character how to beat a mesmer or ele before talking about this.

Unless youre on teamspeak with an organized group (or just high level ranked pvp) there is little to no counter play to these elites (for most classes, I’m aware of some tricks.)
Its not fun to play against. Not even very fun to use (long cd skills where you end up mostly AAing…) except initially because of the powerful feel.
While looking at elites with HoT please look at ALL of them. Please re-work into something more interesting that is both fun to use and fun to play against.

Rampage is ridiculously overpowered, and if they pop resistance, even more so.
Lich form is too, buuut …… play a staff ele and pop earth skill number 3. I am sure it will make you smile.
Lich is strong but ok, rampage is completely op and unfun to play against. As a condi ranger it’s a death sentence, no matter if the warrior is at 10% hp or 100%… they just push healing signet and kill you.
Huge damage, high mobility, high health pool, invulnerability for conditions, stability and cc. Compare it with other classes elites that can be completely negated with a single dodge…
Lich is fine. Simply run away if you can’t handle it.

Lich Form’s duration has been nerfed by half since launch. It used to be 30 seconds, now it’s 15.
