I’m a bit confused: no matter what profession do i play, i’ve always ended with ranged weapon in PvP. I just can’t be sure when is the right time to switch on melee … As a Warrior i like LB and if i switch to melee i usualy die very fast. I know that melee is more dmg than ranged, but i just suck as a melee:P It’ is much harder to hit running around and jumping players from melee range. Ranged weapons are so much safer option.
On my Mesmer i usualy play Staff/Scepter and i can perform much better than 1h sword.
As a Thief i can do it better with P/P than D/D(/P) or S/D.
So, my question is: how do you know when is the right time for melee in PvP?
