Hey I don’t normally post cause I have very little faith in the world but here goes. I came back to the game recently and had to endure this spirit meta as a ranger. I’m very happy that spirits are being nerfed but nothing significant is being buffed, asides for a little more damage to longbow rangers aren’t getting anything I would call viable. If this update is to go through as is being presented there would be no reason to take a ranger anymore. My only solution would be to buff the trap ranger build in a very simple and easy to implement way. Increase the distance which rangers can throw traps, that way we would have at least one viable build that brings something to a team fight. As trap rangers are squishy by slightly increasing the range of throwing traps you add to their survivability and bring back an underutilized build. I hope Anet reads this and gives us a bit of an idea as to what their plans and intentions are for rangers in this next update.

I’d suggest reading the Ranger thread in the Ranger forums so you can nail the coffin shut and move on to another class.

Boy oh boy, sounds like a ranger patch through and through.
When we’re not ignored were given passive/bunker buffs.
(main’ed a trap ranger for the first few months of this game)
