Over the past few days I have been doing a few solo and duo queues into Team Arena (since rewards are best there) and saw a lot of rangers.
Is this the new meta?

Wow the spvp solo queue population for EU is like triple NA.

And yes but most rangrars have downies and are easy to kill like me.

Well it has indeed become popular and I actually like it more so than everyone and their mother playing warriorz and thieves. Now if only the cele d/d ele would drop a bit in popularity….

I’ll admit though range wars 2 get a bit annoying at times.

imo ranger wars 2 is funnier than bunker wars 2, the game feels so fast paced it’s basically a third person shooter lol

You can’t complain about rangers stacking in a team! How dare you! There a lot of topics that say that people stack Elementalists and Engineers! Can’t you read!? The meta is clearly 3xEle 2xEngi!

That happened to me last night… but it was just 2 rangers. If they know what they’re doing, it’s pretty awful. On the other hand, if they have no clue how to play ranger, it’s a free kill.

Ofc..ever since they got a 100b at 1500 range….Its rangers everywhere.Most arn’t that good,they just randomly pew pew hoping people will drop,just sucks how youre fighting 1on1 and a ranger jumps in kiting you from 1500 range or somewhere on a ledge you can’t reach so you gotta bail,besides that not much problem with them..If it is a ranger that knows what he’s doing than he most likely is running sword..Tbh those builds are so much harder to kill for me,the condi spam,traps,evading,stealthing is so much harder to beat for me than a random pew pew ranger.

It’s even more embarrassing if you play a ranger ><

Haven’t seen numbers like that, but I mostly do hotjoin, maybe singleQ is worse (would not surprise me)

I was just on a 5 ranger team. I don’t think any of us were running glass LB. Maybe one, I couldn’t keep tabs on everyone.

It isnt quite meta yet. The recent buff they got hardly made them overpowered, but it invited a playstyle where camping is heavily rewarded with little risk/effort. So everyone is doing that.

Rarely do you find a ranger that is a decent fighter among them though.

Idk, I’ve seen a noticeable decline in rangers lately. I still see engineers more than any other class by a large margin in solo Q.

It’s ok 90% of them are reterded lb power rangers (Aka freekills)

lol, try matches with constant engineers because they have literal kittentons of knockbacks.

I like these rangers more than the spirit ones we had before.

Its the same issue as with turret engi its just to rewarding for the effort.
