Rangers/Eles/Conditions are way out of hand
I disagree on the OP’s title and would change it accordingly: ‘conditions applied by rangers and engis are ouf of hand.’
+bunker trappers are kitten
The only rangers I lose to more often than not are perma-regen beastmasters. I find it difficult to burst them down even after removing most of their boons, but trying to defeat a bunker with a glass cannon is not easily done.
Engis aren’t typically a problem if you spec utilities properly for conditions or for burst (which is pretty easy to spec for).
Eles are mostly about avoiding fire attacks and churning earth (at least in my experience). The rest is just kiting and stun breaking.

Its not the dmg or the conditions its the broken scaling of bunker stats that’s why we have almost unkillable any bunker class. Base dmg + bunker wins over dmg it’s crap because bunker stats have no synergy and it breaks tpvp because the respawn timers the same so you end up spending a ton of time fighting bunker win or lose its a loss cause they can just zerg right back to the point with your cds down and beat you. Over all I see going bunker a cheese bad groups do it for wins over randoms.

That’s kind of the point of a bunker… To hold people off of one point while their teammates backcap the other points… If one bunker can hold off 3 people for 1 minute it is enough time for the other 4 people to cap other points… D/d Eles and Rangers have more conditions than you would expect from a bunker but they still do that job well… And mesmers I am sorry we are at a disadvantage when it comes to conditions (usually) other classes such as guardian and ele have some of the best condi removal in the game… As well as necros that can remove condis with a heal skill… Bunkers need the better stats because the two best bunkers in game (guard&ele) have the lowest base health…. Try getting a full zerker guard to be useful in tourneys… It just won’t happen… The damage is great sure… but because you have no real movement abilities you just get the couple blocks from weapon and the aegis… D/d eles are good bunkers/roamers because they have the defense and healing plus mobility… Other classes are kinda okay bunkers… mes can do it well 1v1 rangers are good but they bring nothing else to their team… So really if you look at it the balance isn’t all that terrible except for warriors… two necros an still trash a bunker so can two thieves… but that’s the point…

And then you have everyone running around in nothing but glass builds calling everything OP because they die to it… Bunkers bring good group utility such as boons and group protection… They also have the ability to face tank about 3 people on one point there by allowing their team to focus other objectives on the map. If you look at scores at the end of a match most bunkers have the lowest individual score… Do you think they do this on purpose? No… They do it because they know that it brings something over all to the team…. 5 GC builds are great and all but if it is a 2v1 ever the GC is done… Or if it is someone that has a tid bit off toughness that GC better be able to get out fast because they are screwed… This is why there are bunkers… Everyone loves big damage but if you have a bunker your chances of winning as a team are better.
Glass canon builds aren’t much better either. Heck, it wasn’t a joke when I suggested plain removing the amulets from sPvP :p
I’d love if ANet let us configure the custom servers much more than the plain boring options they have currently. Banning skills or items for example.
@stof: Bunkers are the placeholders for dedicated healers. That’s the reason why they exist. But I think they should be forced a bit more into team support.
On the other hand GC’s exist because there are bunkers.
I’d say this is the reason overall, why it’s so hard to balance this game and having on most classes just one viable spec.
