Okay, this seriously kitten ed me off.
When I downed a Ranger, they position themselves in a way that their pets can lick wounds (downed #3) and heal them without being disturbed and I can’t do anything. Someone please tell me if this was intentional or not because the rate they recover is ridiculous.

On-land fighting isn’t nearly balanced. I wouldn’t expect under-water combat to be balanced any time soon (lower priority). However, most people are terrible at underwater combat, and if you are good you can take most non-ranger challengers.

I play a Guardian using meditation, two-handed traits and high healing power, so I can survive underwater fights well.
So when I use my trident’s basic attack, it suppose to hit the pet right after the owner because it bounces right? Hence, it suppose to interrupt the healing?

EDIT: It was a 1 VS 1 situation at some cases yet he heals fast enough because of downed 3.

Oh no, now Raid on the Capricorn is ruined! No one will ever want to play that map again!

Last I checked, the ranger’s underwater downed #3 is bugged. You can’t interrupt the pet healing at all. Even killing the pet during the healing won’t stop it from happening. The only way to finish off a downed ranger underwater is to DPS him down before he can activate lick wounds.

Underwater combat is broken in PvP, that is known (and not fixed) since the 22. August 2012 stresstest.
