Not one to complain about how one class has this and it’s so unfair

I ran across this Ranger who would not die underwater because once he was downed his pet started reviving him. 1 v 1 there is no way to dps him faster than his pet was reviving him.

Seriously this is incredibly unfair at least underwater it’s fine if it’s on land where you can finish them off but you can do no such thing underwater

Haha som1 finally made a post about this. I can confirm this. Once the pet heal starts u need at least 3 people to out dps it

Its a bug.Pet healin is stronger underwater and pet continues to heal you even when he is dead.

yep pretty much, it’s the dead pet bug that really ruins it (i don’t have any fear about going downed underwater…infact the plan is stay alive as long as possible to get max damage in and then face tank once pet skill comes out once i’m downed). but in any 1v1 situation you’re probably not gonna killthat ranger underwater.

there are 3 counters

a) kill the ranger before he becomes last stand aquaman
b) seperate the pet and ranger before he becomes last stand aquaman
c) 3 people dps

bring a really big straw

As my ranger friend told me “can’t lose underwater unless its 1v3”

I’ve personally lost 2v1 against rangers a few times which is why i stopped playing capricorn completely even if there isn’t a ranger in the server. underwater combat is a joke. They keep trying to do small balance/buffs to underwater combat but the biggest problem they haven’t addressed is stomping people underwater. until thats added, it will never be balanced.

After they fix this, they should also fix the never ending evading thief, thank you very much.

They should allow underwater stomps, imo. Barring that, they should definitely fix this bug. Even with 3 people beating on you, it takes forever to die. Holding the underwater point in Capricorn against multiple attackers is ridiculously easy as a Ranger because of this.

I ran into this the other day in hot join and almost thought he was using some kind of hack. It took like 5 people to kill him he was death blossom non freaking stop all damage being evaded

I posted a thread about this 2 days after the patch went through, they are un-kill able under water where there is no stomping. It was me completely dpsing, and 2 sharks chomping this ranger, who healed through the damage, downed me while damaging me in his downed state, he resized from his pet and killed me. He then sent me a whisper saying “that just happened and that that kitten was op”. I completely avoid water combat now lol.

why not just keep downing him after he rallies? eventually he’ll die right?

Because he can kill you while in downed state… Since there is no stomp underwater, you are going to take an qssloqd of damage trying to kill someone who has a condtant ridiculously strong heal going. I can only heal every 25 seconds, and I never usually finish a fight at full life. Rangers can blast on you while healing through your damage, the heal doesn’t stop.
