I would be curious to see what people think are the tiers of current classes. I personally main mesmer, and I do not feel as if it is a tier 1 class anymore, tier 2 at best.

1= omg i’m awesome
2= i can be awesome
3= please don’t pick me i’m fat

Just rank them! Tier 1, 2, or 3.

I am too lazy because I am tired right now, but you get the hint.

You can rank by hotjoin, or by team or solo queue.

Yeah warriors are an underdog class…that’s obviously up to date :P

I would say it depends on play skill needed for an average performance…roughly something like this.

1) Ranger/Warrior/Necro – Pick up and play
2) Thief/Guardian/Mesmer – Will hurt for a while but once you get the basics you will do fine.
3) Elementalist / Engineer. – Average play just won’t cut it. If you play at the same level as other classes you will simply die.

This will change as skill levels increase or decrease…

1) Ranger/Warrior/Necro
2) …
3) Thief/Guard/Mesmer/Elementalist/Engineer

I don’t claim that it’s up to date, I’m just saying that there’s already a popular thread about that.

when guardian, ranger, necro, thief are must have in all competition, when warrior is not a must have.

i mean look at some of the posters post history, and you will understand how most of them like to talk nonsense and have 0 knowledge of the game while claiming themselves superior.

Ranger/Necro just OP. I always pick ranger if I just want to finish my daily PVP.

Guardian is balanced, but shouldn’t be the ONLY and the BEST bunker.

Warrior is balanced and overrated, try Mesmer and Thief.

Ele need some love, IMO.

1) Spirit of Nature, Storm Spirit, Frost Spirit, Stone Spirit, Sun Spirit, Warrior, S/D Thief, Necro
