All this while this is no difference between ranked and unranked because leaderboards are a joke

Wow….. I actually agree with this.

Yeah it used to be better when it was Solo Q and Team Q. It was more consistent and I always felt like I knew that my matches were going to be more competitive and my teammates were going to be a lot smarter in team q than in solo q, and now it’s all mashed together into randomness and you never know what to expect. I still mostly do ‘Compete’ because I hate the additional maps in ‘Play’ and ‘Practice,’ but when I venture over to ‘Play’ I don’t notice the skill floor dropping much because it’s gotten pretty bad in ‘Compete’ now, too. :/

Lets also get rid of leader board and be honest about the competitive state of this game

Forget ranked and unranked – the bad players go into ranked and do their dailies regardless of what you call it so kitten it

It is fine the way it is now.

Yes I’ve been saying this since it was implemented. And it is disturbing that the PvP devs have had little communication with the community since the December update other than…“yes we know the leaderboards are flawed, we will have more for that someday” and “tell us about your bad matches and we will look at your stats”. Minimal attention given to the fact that they completely kittened the infrastructure of PvP in this game. If Heart of Thorns wasn’t coming, I’d say they killed the game.

It’s more a leaderboard and an off-season fault.

I don’t even understand the point of a leaderboard. …. individual rankings for a team based game.

Remove individual rankings, implement team based rankings, and then combine unranked and ranked together.

Where would partial premades play?

I disagree. I’ve had an awesome amount of tight-knit matches and games where tides turn half way through. It never felt like that before – games were far more predictable.
