Rather Lose a Duel or a Match?
Tourney id rather lose a duel, but I do my best to not die. Hotjoins id rather lose the match. Losing a duel causes a blow to my ego.

I’m assuming we’re only taking about Duels and Tournament Matches.
A duel is very dependent on which class you’re up against and which class you play.
A guardian would probably lose 90-100% of all duels against an average engineer/ranger/mesmer even though he could be a lot better.

Correct answer is to lose a match and then qq how my teammates suck and that they should delete GW2.

I wont really cry if i die to a bomb or hgh engie 1vs1 but its bad for my ego and keeping my ego intact is very very important
If you’re not a brainless hotzerger the answer is pretty obvious imo. If i have to go vs a spec that is probably going to kill me just to hold that point long enough to let our bunker come back to defend i don’t give a kitten if i’m going to die, duels are worth nothing…your team and victory come first, ever. The sooner ppl get it the sooner we will see an awesome improvement in gw2’s pvp quality. Hotzerg mentality (Aka: “Come 1vs1 i’ll kill ya nooob1!11!11!!”) already ruined too much gameplay in this game.

Duels mean nothing, specially when you go against the “duelist” class. asides from phantasm builds, other builds have different strengths/weaknesses which don’t always guarantee a win or that make every match different.
