Are placement matches going through ranked queues? If so, seriously pull that kitten out into its own queue.
Well that would explain how when you get higher on the ranking get worst and worst players… as somebody say RNGod ist by their side getting their ranking high…
It should be a separate system for placement, then it should unlock ranked for the season so you can play there afterwards. But do not have people in placement matches going through ranked queue because they were available and their skill rating is at that point in time there because they haven’t tanked it to bronze or lead level (I wished it existed).

All that would do is make an incentive for people to wait with their placements untill all the top players did them and stomp an undeserved 10-0.
